These giant marigolds grow about 3 feet high, and produce blooms that range from golden melon-orange to light yellow. Marigolds make excellent dried flowers for bright indoor blooms all winter long.

All seeds are hand-harvested from plants grown on our farm in Union, Oregon:
- Located within the Blue Mountain Ecoregion
- Zone 6b
- Elevation: 2,786 ft
- Average rainfall: 13 in
- Classified as a high elevation desert
Growth requirements:
- Full sun (8-10 hrs per day)
- Well drained soils
- Marigolds are sensitive to frost but grow quickly in warm weather.
- Direct-sow seeds ¼” deep, and space the plants 12-24 inches apart. These can also be started indoors, then transplanted outside once the weather is warm.
- For best results in eastern Oregon, start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost (April-May) and transplant outside once danger of frost has passed (June).
