This flower can be directly sowed in the spring for a summer bloom. Godetia is a cultivated variant of the Clarkia wildflower native to the western side of Oregon. Also sometimes called "Farewell to Spring" like the wildflower.

Direct-sow seeds ¼” deep, and space the plants 6-12 inches apart. These can also be started indoors, then transplanted outside once the weather is warm.
