These are an heirloom pie pumpkin known as "Fairytale" or a type of "Musquee de Province" heirloom pumpkin.

They are open pollinated, which means they are grown outside and allowed to pollinate naturally (with the help of pollinator insects).

Growth requirements:

Pumpkins needs 150-180 days to maturity.

Full sun (8-10 hrs per day)

Well drained soils. Overwatering can increase the risk of powdery mildew infection.

In zone 6b, these must be started indoors a month or two early, then transplanted outside once the weather is warm.

Green pumpkins can be harvested before the first fall frost and brought inside to ripen in a window.
